I've come miles
since i realized myself
One flame inside of me
I had ignited
which has dimmed
since so long.
It flickers to live
but i sim it down
on a pretence
That may be
its not the right time
nor the right move
For now.
but then it haunts
and kills me.
An incessant urge
drains through me
all the alibis
And makes me
to pull it out
from inside and
Wear it all over
Become what
I was meant to be
And stop masquerading
with an empty smile
So no more do i need
any sympathies
For now I am free
From the shackles
Of the rules someone
crafted for me.
Its me and only me
who dictates my world
Coz Thats how
Its meant to be.
Be it a sunny day
or a stormy night
I dont regret
Coz its mine
and I play with it
On my terms.
Now I am at peace
With no regrets
Waiting for
my day to come
When I'll rise to shine
and fill the world
with colors i store
before I faint
with bliss in my eyes.

Let Me Live This Dream

Let me live this dream

With just me

And no one else

Where I feel

Every step I take

Where I sense

Every air I breathe

Where I am aware

Of every moment

That passes by

There’s no past

To cry on

There’s no future

To crave for

It’s just a dream

With me

And no one else

Sitting by the river

I dip my bare feet

Into the rushing stream

It feels so neat

The genteel water

Flows with a pure touch

Something I wanted

For so long

And wind that blows

Sways my hair softly

Like no hands

Could ever do

The stars above

Give an amorous glance

Like they’re their

Just to look after me

The moon tenders more

Its smile delights me

They see me through

And it feels so calm

Then I lay on the grass

It brushes me all over

Softly it puts me to sleep

While I talk to the moon

Deep in my slumber

I feel a warm cuddle

I wake up and find

It’s the sun greeting me

To a wonderful morning

The fresh flowers

Bloom around

The giggling birds

Sing a new rhyme

I experience

The essence of life

Where there’s no one

Who could hurt me

Or put me to cry

No one who could

Scrap me to test my trust

Just love and me

And no one else

In this place

Let me live this dream…

Just me and you...

It needn’t be the sun

It needn’t be the air

It needn’t be the sky

Nor the ground

Just let it be us

And our beautiful love

To make our own

World around…

You touched me

Like a gentle breeze

You kissed me

Like the rains

In the shivers of winter

You comfort like the rays

Being with you

Is no less than a dream

So, it needn’t be the breeze

It needn’t be the rain

It needn’t be a season

Nor the rays

Just let it be us

And our beautiful love

To make our dreams

Come true…

In the cacophony

Of the life

Your words seem divine

When I am asleep

In your arms

All my pains decline

You shine like a star

In my darkest night

When all goes wrong

You make me feel alright.

So, it needn’t be the joy

It needn’t be a star

Nor a smile

Just let it be us

And our beautiful love

To make a wonderful life

For me and you…

Tashan #$%@$

I am actually jealous of those who didn’t see this movie. And I can’t stop repenting on the two and a half hours sacrifice of my afternoon nap. What did I do to deserve this?? Let us all pray for Vijay Krishna Acharya to develop a better insight on sensible cinema.
(For all those who don’t know who I am talking about, it’s the director of the movie)
Let us come to the characters.
Lakhan Singh aka Bhaiyaji. Played by Anil Kapoor, this was the most irritating character of the movie. For the first time I wanted English subtitles for a Hindi movie!!! What the hell was he saying man. How would you feel if you see Gabbar Singh or Mogambo driving a riksha towards the lead actors to kill them?? Isn’t that stupid? Here you get to see this in the climax when Lakhan Singh, who is supposedly a ruthless don, comes in a riksha and gets killed in one stab by a size zero babe who is all of a sudden possessed by the soul of Michelle Yeoh (crouching tiger hidden dragon)!!!!
Pooja Singh: This one was played by Kareena Kapoor. Her new ultra slim avatar sizzled on the silver and hence was an eye candy for the guyz. In the first half she plays a docile girl who brings Saif down on his knees. Seedhi-sadhi types. Cut-to, a beach, where this supposedly innocent girl comes out of the water in bikini!!! (And guyz start drooling). She sings “Chhaliya Chhaiya..” wearing clothes next to nothing and in the immediate next scene, she is in white suite on the bank on Ganges, for her father’s final ritual!!! I mean common… First she grabs money, sings on the sea-shore seducing all the men in the theatre and then when she’s done with all the spending, she finally goes to Haridwar. Though her performance was good but the plot was pathetic. The worst part was the end, where in the background we have “Tashan hai.. tashan hai..” and the next moment when she kills the villain, the track changes to “Bitiyaaaa…” (daughter) or some crap. No comments.

Jimmy: That is Saif Ali Khan. Whenever you see Saif in a two-hero flick, then we already know “ki boss, saif ka to katne wala hai” and on this matter, the story came up to our expectations. He didn’t have much of an important role. If some lesser actor had played that role then it couldn’t have made much of a difference.

Bachchan Pandey: Played by Akshay Kumar. He was the savior. Its only when he enters the story we can have a few good scenes and a few laughs. So I guess the critics will acquit him. He is truly the best. The only reason one can see this movie.

Well, this just a trailor to all the castigation I can give to the movie. I truly respect individual response to this movie… But as per me, it isn’t worth a 150 bucks ticket.

After the 2 point something hour fiasco, the ending line is,
“Whatz life widout Tashan??”. Hehe.. do I even need to answer that.
